Membership Management For The Administrator

There are some things only an admin should do for its members

We strive to empower the individual members to update their own membership details so that the administrator doesn't have to, but some things need to be restricted so that only a person with the correct role can perform the action.

Add a New Member

Add the member by entering the e-mail address
We only require an e-mail address for your members. But our intuitive add membership wizard allows you to add additional information really easy, including uploading a profile picture.

Adding Minors
Navigate to the guardian tab and add one or more guardians.

It is possible to add multiple guardians that receive different types of information. Let's say that you would like to have one guardian that receives event notifications and another that only receive invoices. Not a problem!

Assign Roles & Permissions to Member

CoachHippo have a role-based access control system and it's very easy to assign and withdraw permissions.
Let's have a look at our different roles
member_wizard_4

Active
Used for active members, which means that you can inactivate a member instead of deleting it.

Regular / Backup
Use backup role whenever you have member that only participates every once in a while

Coach Can create events and contact members in the group.

Team Leader
Can add and remove members.

Administrator
Has full access to the membership registry

Chairman of the Board
Can decide on board issues.

Board Member
Can create surveys that are open for the board or restricted to the board members.

Treasurer
The only one with access to the financials.

It's important to note that you can assign multiple members to the same role. Let's say that the Chairman of the Board wants direct insight into the finances. Not a problem - just assign the Treasurer role as well as the chairman role.

Delete Member

Sometimes a member no longer wishes to be a part of your group, when that happens you can easily remove the member from the registry.
If you have defined guardians they are not automatically deleted because the can have multiple relations to the group.

Click on the members name and then hit the delete button in the dropdown. Don't worry, you need to hit delete one more time to confirm the action.

If the member had guardians defined and you are sure that they are not used for anything else in the group it is safe to delete them as well.

Exclude From Invoicing

If you for some reason would like to exclude certain members from receiving Invoices you simply check the "Exclude from invoicing" button and then hit save.
